Stephen Blackley
Stephen Blackley Owner, Wooden Floorsander and Craftsman
Stephen has been in the timber flooring trade for over 30 years and has a wealth of experience and expertise.
Prior to setting up in Wanaka over eighteen years ago, Stephen learnt his trade in Wellington and owned a floorsanding business, working on many large projects including Te Papa, Embassies, school halls and governments contracts, alongside restored villas and other residential work.
He keeps his trade current and at the leading edge of technology through the National Wood Floors of America (NWFA) workshops in the USA and at the Australasian Timber Flooring Association (ATFA) , and Asian / European tradeshows. He attends and supports industry updates within New Zealand, and BCITO Apprenticeship scheme.
Lewis Wright
Lewis Wright Builder and Wooden Floor Craftsman
Lewis has been with us for over twelve years. He is a qualified builder and true craftsman with wood, specialising in bespoke stairs and other custom wood finishes.
Libby Blackley
Libby Blackley Business Manager
Libby manages the showroom, quotes and business management for Wanaka Wood Floors Ltd and is a Director in the company, along with our support team.
Ben Chant
Ben Chant Timber Floor Installer
Ben Chant a very experienced, qualified flooring tradesman, originally from England, a specialist in floor levelling and intergral part of our laying team. Always a perfectionist, he goes the extra mile for the customer
Jack Williams
Jack Williams Flooring Installer and Apprentice Finisher
Jack Williams is a Wanaka local who has just finished his time as an installation apprentice and is now learning the trade of finishing timber floors
